Meet Adj

Adj McColl is an LA based dog trainer with a lifelong passion and natural connection to animals. Prior to becoming a professional trainer, Adj has worn many hats, holding leadership and management positions in construction and art communities in Seattle and NYC.

In 2018, Petey, a blind double merle Australian Shepard rescue came into her life and changed everything. After years of working with professional trainers to address Petey’s severe aggression and other behavioral issues, Adj began in depth studies of dog behavior and nutrition to become a trainer herself. She has since completed training workshops and courses with Packlife LA, Jay Jack, Chris Sykes, and The Feed Real Institute, where she completed her Professional Canine Nutrition Certification. She has also worked with Dogs Playing for Life (Florida and California), providing enrichment, socialization, and training to shelter dogs.

Adj has spent the past few years specializing in training dogs with complex behavioral issues, aggression, and/or disabilities. While that will always be near and dear to her, she is equally excited to work with dogs of all types.

When she’s not training, she loves to be underwater or eating good food with friends.
