Meet Adj

Adj McColl is an LA based dog trainer with a lifelong passion and natural connection to animals. Prior to becoming a professional trainer, Adj has worn many hats, holding leadership and management positions in construction and art communities.

In 2018, Petey, a blind double merle Australian Shepard rescue came into her life and changed everything. After years of working with professional trainers to address Petey’s aggression issues, Adj began in depth studies of dog behavior and nutrition to become a trainer herself. She has since completed training workshops and and courses with Packlife LA (California), Jay Jack, Larry Kohn, and Joel Silverman (St Louis), Method K9 (Idaho), Chris Sykes (So Cal) and The Feed Real Institute, where she completed her Professional Canine Nutrition Certification. She also volunteered and then was employed by Dogs Playing for Life (FL and LA) working with shelter dogs and getting extensive experience faciliting playgroups and socialization.

Adj has spent the past few years specializing in training dogs with complex behavioral issues and/or disabilities. While that will always be near and dear to her, she is excited equally as excited to prioritize working with dogs of all types!

When she’s not training, she loves to be underwater or eating good food with friends.
